A Seminar at the University of Art and Design Helsinki
June 13-15, 2001.
The ADEEA seminar was focused on art, design and art
education in Eastern Africa. Five African key-note
speakers presented their viewpoints.
Several exchange projects between African and Finnish art
schools and other institutions were presented by the
Finnish artists and art educators.
During the seminar development cooperation in the field
of art and design,its goals and methods were evaluated.
The Seminar was organized by The Department of Art
Education, University of Art and Design Helsinki, UIAH
Finnish Department of Development Co-operation has supported this publication.
